Wire cutting is an important part of making brushes.

How to thread the wire correctly? Are you in trouble of wire feeding in or cutting? How to make the wire feed smoothly and continuously? How to make good cuts and shapes?

You can follow 12 steps.

Step 1:

First of all, block bristles / monofilaments, do not allow bristles to be picked up.

Step 2:

Adjust the position of the tufting head.

Different wire systems have different requirement. For round wire system, the tufting head must be adjusted to the low position. For flat wire system, the tufting head must be adjusted to the high position.

Step 3:

Get the right wire and place it on the right way, no matter flat wire or round wire, make sure that the wire coil is neat before threading.

There are some tips before threading.

Tip 1: For round wire, put a nut to increase gravity to prevent the coil from getting messy.

For flat wire, wrap the wire around to prevent the coil from getting messy.

Tips 2: Cut the bent wire to keep them straight for smooth threading.

Step 4:

Pass the wire through the ring, block, tube and the triangle plate, and push it into the tufting pole until the end, and lock the wire feeding rod.

Important note: During threading, do NOT bend the wire, otherwise it will easily cause wire feeding alarm.

Step 5:

Turn on the brake

Step 6:

Manually push the wheel / pulley upwards to shape, cut and finally pushed out the wire being fed. Check whether the wire is well cut, and formed in a good triangle shape (round wire).

Do it again. Push the wheel upwards to cut the wire again to see whether it’s good.

Important note: After threading, do NOT pull down the wheel, but can ONLY push it up, otherwise the wire is easy to get stuck in the tufting pole.

Step 7:

If there is no problem with the wire forming and cutting, push the wheel up to raise the tufting head to the highest position. And turn off the brake.

Step 8:

Put a box under the tufting head to catch the cut wires to prevent them from scattering on the workbench.

Step 9:

Turn on automatic.

Step 10:

Press the start button to test cutting wire.

Step 11:

During the testing process, you can speed up or slow down, and lubricate the moving parts of the machine head and wire feeding area.

Step 12:

If there is no abnormality, you can stop the test cutting after about 10 minutes.
